To begin with, I have heard a lot of positive feedback about your offshore recruiting company, that’s why I’d like to join your employment company in the capacity of offshore Chef Manager, catering Officer, Camp Boss or Chief steward . Over the last 14 years I have become very familiar with working in a diverse international environment (over 50 nationalities across 30 contracts). I have also worked in hotels and restaurants on shore as well. I am very familiar with European, Scandinavian, American, South American and Asian, Indian cuisines. During my career I have worked with over 20 different nationalities of cooks and I have learned a lot from these people.

I have valid American visas B1/OCS and C/1D. I possess good computer skills for preparing the menus, ordering provisions, making schedules and managing the catering department (onshore / offshore). My menu includes a lot of different dishes from all over the world. I have worked in the following positions: Mess boy, steward, Cook, Cook/AB, offshore Chief Cook, Baker, offshore Chief steward, Chef Manager and catering Officer, Camp Boss. However, I know my job very well; I’m still young and full of power. I have finished college for cooks and school bakers. In addition, I have finished courses of healthy food and hygiene control standards all over the ship, HACCP, HUET, BOSIET, OPITO. I like to pay attention to every crew member on board. My policy: everybody must be happy, because food is very important to the crew morale. I am also conscious of religion and sickness and its impact on the crew.

I have worked offshore on the following types of vessels: bulkers, container, universal, coaster, wood cargo, chemical tankers and offshore. Wherever I work, I always get an excellent response; I can forward these if you wish. As you can see from my application form I have an oil-tanker and dangerous cargo certificate. I have my own food books, inventory control systems, garbage control systems, scheduling procedures that meet the international standards in all the countries that I have worked. I have developed these systems myself.

In the near future our ship will go to Australia for a project and according with the Australian agreement all catering crew are required to be local citizens. And that’s why I would really like to obtain a job with your Company. If you are looking for additional catering staff I have some very experienced and very good cooks, stewards and bakers. I am anticipating some well-paid, permanent and interesting offers, because I really like to work, and I am a very high-class Cook. I will be able to join the vessel approximately after April1, 2014. All medical certificates, vaccinations and stool test are ready. I can send my scanned documents, police clearance and photos of my dishes (if required). Applying for offshore position in catering crew

I would be very happy to get a job as a chef / kitchen assistant on oil rigs or offshore oil rigs in Europe on your proposal. Permanent, full time or contract. I am very experienced cook. Job experience is 27 years (offshore and ashore). Worked 22 years as a chief cook /cook on many International Ships, including Irish Ferries, DFDS, Lithuanian Marine Companies. Highly motivated to work as part of a small / big multi-disciplinary catering crew, able to work with minimum supervision, can work under pressure, responsible, hard working, punctual, friendly person. English on perfect level (both written & spoken). Citizenship is Lithuanian (EU).Place of current residence is Wexford, Co.Wexford, Ireland. All seaman's documents are in possession. Health condition is good. Can start upon Your request. I would be very glad if You could offer me the job position of offshore chef/cook/kitchen assistant on oil rig.
